BIG Konstantynów, a regional retail complex developed by Acteeum Group and BIG Poland in the Łódź metropolitan area, is dynamically expanding its group of tenants. The most popular and highly anticipated brands, including among others New Yorker, CCC, WorldBox, Sinsay, Martes Sport, McDonald’s, Jysk, Diverse and Maxi Zoo, will open their stores in the project, which commercialization level – one year before opening – has just exceeded 80 percent.
The Konstantynów retail complex, with a total area of 21,000 sqm of GLA, is progressing with  construction works at full pace, and the opening of the investment is scheduled for October 2026.

Thanks to several recently signed lease agreements covering a total area of more than 5,500 sqm, BIG Konstantynów will be joined by well-known and popular brands – New Yorker, Martes Sport, Jysk, Diverse and Maxi Zoo. The offers of these brands, together with other tenants such as CCC, Worldbox and Sinsay, as well as the Kaufland hypermarket and the Brico Marche DIY store operating within the retail complex, will create a retail center unique on the scale of the entire region. In addition, negotiations are being finalized with an operator of a fitness club, ensuring a modern facility that will be the largest of its kind in the area, as well as with an operator of a children’s play center. A McDonald’s restaurant with a drive-through function will also soon be built on the BIG Konstantynów site.

The strong popularity of BIG Konstantynów among tenants ensures that the complex’s retail and service offering will be truly unique. Notably, the brands now joining the project, together with the neighboring Kaufland hypermarket and the Brico Marche DIY store, constitute an exceptionally comprehensive and complementary offer. As a whole, it will meet the shopping needs of residents of surrounding districts, including the 70,000-residents Retkinia, as well as more than 20,000 people working within the largest economic zone in the Łódź region, and all travelers using the nearby exit from the S14 route. An additional advantage of BIG Konstantynów location is the immediate vicinity of the fast-tram stop connecting Konstantynów with Łódź, which enables convenient access to the project’s offer for people regularly commuting to the city.

– says Mariusz Kowalczyk, Leasing Director of Acteeum Central Europe.

The complex will include a retail park under the BIG brand with an area of approximately 13,500 sqm of GLA, featuring around 30 stores of the most anticipated brands in the area. The complex will be complemented by the existing Kaufland hypermarket of approximately 4,500 sqm and the Bricomarche store of approximately 3,200 sqm.

BIG Konstantynów will offer customers a diverse selection of fashion, home furnishings, sports, consumer electronics, multimedia and drugstore brands. It will also feature a wide range of services as well as tenants from the entertainment sector. In addition, the center will provide an extensive gastronomic offer, including a McDonald’s restaurant.

For customers arriving by car, a spacious car park for more than 500 vehicles will be available, along with a petrol station featuring a car wash and infrastructure for charging electric vehicles. The project will also include relaxation zones, entertainment areas, gaming and play spaces for children, and numerous small-architecture elements. Furthermore, the investment will feature convenient traffic solutions ensuring easy access to the facility from the S14 expressway, Konstantynów and Łódź.

BIG Konstantynów will naturally meet the needs of residents of Konstantynów and its neighborhood, including the adjacent district of Retkinia. This will be possible thanks to its excellent location at Łódzka Street, the fast-tram stop and the planned S14 exit leading directly to the complex. Moreover, the facility will align perfectly with the shopping needs arising from the rapidly growing nearby economic zone, which employs more than 20,000 people.

Construction of the facility is underway, and the opening is scheduled for October 2026.
