BIG Piła, the regional retail park developed by Acteeum Group and BIG Poland, has obtained a final building permit and, in line with the schedule, will commence construction works this September. At the same time, additional brands – including the dm drugstore – are joining the group of tenants of the project, which offers a total of 38,000 sqm of GLA. The opening of BIG Piła is planned for the third quarter of 2026.

The project of the Piła shopping center, developed in cooperation between Acteeum Group and BIG Poland, is entering its final stage. Following the completion of all formalities, the investors have obtained a final building permit, marking the culmination of the undertaking. Construction works on BIG Piła will commence as early as September, with the opening of the facility scheduled for autumn 2026.

In parallel with the start of construction, the commercialization of the facility is progressing rapidly. In recent days, the brand dm has joined the project and, in a leased unit of 630 sqm, will offer a comprehensive range of drugstore products.

We are very pleased that our joint project with BIG in Piła is moving so dynamically into its final stage. We are proud that, both in terms of development and commercialization, the project is surpassing subsequent milestones with such momentum. On the one hand, fulfilling all formal requirements allows us to commence construction as early as September; on the other, the exceptional attractiveness of the project and excellent cooperation with tenants enable us to finalize agreements with further well-known and significant brands on the market.

– says Tomasz Jopkiewicz, Leasing Director of Acteeum Central Europe.

BIG Piła, located at Aleja Wojska Polskiego in Piła, will be a regional shopping center with a total area of approximately 38,000 sqm GLA and a catchment area of around 100,000 residents within a 30-minute drive. The complex will comprise a retail park with an area of approximately 18,700 sqm GLA, including a modern supermarket and over 30 stores of the most expected brands in the region. As part of BIG Piła, there will also be a DIY store of approximately 8,000 sqm, a spacious Agata furniture showroom, and parking for around 1,200 vehicles. In addition, the investment will include convenient transport solutions ensuring easy access to the facility, as well as various design and infrastructure features meeting the requirements of sustainable development.

The offer at BIG Piła will include a variety of fashion, home furnishing, sports, consumer electronics, media, grocery and drugstore brands. There will also be a food and service offer, providing a comprehensive response to customer needs. BIG Piła shopping center will enrich its surroundings not only with a wide-ranging shopping offer, but also with modern and functional architecture and infrastructure solutions enhancing the transport accessibility of the surrounding area.
