Acteeum Group, developer and asset manager of commercial projects works on extension of its portfolio. In the middle of February the company signed an agreement for a land purchase under a shopping center development in Biała Podlaska. Currently Acteeum Group develops Galeria Stalowa in Stalowa Wola (with Immofinanz AG) and leads the huge extension of the Ogrody Shopping Center in Elbląg for CBRE Global Investors.

The project in Biała Podlaska assumes the development of a shopping center of about 26 000 sqm GLA. The given plot is located at Stodolna, Sportowa and Łomaska streets and has valid permits for both the building itself as well as for the road infrastructure around it. The object will be realized by Acteeum in joint venture with one of the investment partners of the Group. The planned start of construction works is Q3, 2014 and planned opening is Q3, 2015.

– The project in Biała Podlaska is another confirmation of Acteeum Group’s expansion strategy in Poland with minimum 5 new regional retail centers in medium size cities. During the last 3 years we have analyzed about 50 locations from which we selected several we concentrate on at the moment. New objects will be executed as join venture cooperation similar to Galeria Solna (with Libra Project) which opened on May 2013 and the project in Stalowa Wola where we cooperate with Immofinanz Group – says Tomasz Szewczyk, Acteeum Central Europe Regional Managing Director.

The project in Biała Podlaska will consist of a combination of a shopping center and a retail park with a standing alone DIY. The entertainment function of the object multiplex will provide. The project will be the first modern shopping center located close to the border with Belarus.

Acteeum’s current project is the shopping center in Stalowa Wola. Galeria Stalowa will be the first modern shopping center in Stalowa Wola and the region. The object of over 30 000 sqm will be developed in the most densely populated city district Poręby and will serve 400 000 inhabitants in the wider catchment.

Acteeum is also acting as Project Manager for extension of projects from CBRE Global Investors’ portfolio such as Sarni Stok in Bielsko-Biała and Ogrody in Elbląg being responsible as well for commercialization.
