24,000 sqm of immediate GLA, with a target of 38,000 sqm. 40 stores of the most popular brands. The largest and most modern Agata furniture store in the region. A large parking lot for 1,200 vehicles. Catchment of over 100,000 residents of the region. This is what BIG Piła retail park – a joint investment by Acteeum and BIG Poland – will stand for. The cornerstone for the investment was ceremonially laid today, with a honorable participation of noble guests – members of Parliament from Piła, the Local Governor and the Mayor of Piła city.
BIG Piła is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The official ceremony, which symbolically began the countdown to the opening of the largest shopping center in this part of Greater Poland, was attended by honorary guests: Beata Dudzińska – Mayor of Piła, Piotr Głowski – Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland and Rafał Zdzierela – Governor of Piła.
– Today’s cornerstone ceremony begins a phase of intensive work, and we hope that in the fourth quarter of this year, together with BIG Poland and Agata, we will be inviting the residents of Piła to the grand opening. We will offer Piła a large shopping center with a 360-degree retail offering, fully meeting all the needs of residents. – says Tomasz Szewczyk, Acteeum Group Managing Partner.
BIG Piła project has entered the final stage of development. In November 2025, the investors selected JMS as the General Contractor, which immediately commenced construction work. Earthworks and foundation work are currently underway, and assembly of the main structure will begin soon.
– BIG Piła is one of our key projects undertaken using the active development model and an example of our long-term strategy in Poland. It is one of the largest and most comprehensive retail investments in this part of Greater Poland, designed to provide residents with a diverse and attractive retail and service offering in a well-connected location. In parallel with acquiring existing assets, BIG Poland consistently develops new projects and expands existing retail parks, recognizing the significant potential of regional markets and believing that well-designed retail parks like BIG Piła truly support the everyday needs of residents and the development of the local economy. – says Eran Levy, CEO BIG Poland.
The investors – BIG Poland and Acteeum Group – emphasize that this project is not only about modern architecture, but above all, a strong economic boost for the Piła region. The construction of the complex will ultimately generate over 300 new jobs, and the modernization of the road system on Wojska Polskiego Avenue will significantly improve residents’ transportation comfort. The investment includes the construction of a new municipal road, approximately 300 meters long, which will efficiently connect the facility with the existing road infrastructure. An agreement with the Piła Municipality has been signed for this road, and the investor has already obtained a valid building permit.
BIG Piła was designed based on the highest standards of sustainable development. By 2026, 24,000 sqm will be available to customers, and the investors plan to expand the facility to 38,000 sqm, making it one of the largest in Poland.
The complex will also include a drive-thru restaurant and service outlets. All this to ensure residents have convenient access to the products they need every day, all in one place. The BIG Piła shopping center will enhance the surrounding area not only with the city’s shopping offerings but also with modern and functional architecture and infrastructure solutions that will improve the area’s transport links.
