Further well-known brands join Galeria Chełm, which has already been commercialized in over 70% a year before the planned opening. The lease agreement for a 460 sqm store has just been signed with SMYK – market leader in children’s goods and accessories. Thus, SMYK will open its very first store in Chełm.
Acteeum – co-investor and developer of Galeria Chełm – has concluded a lease agreement with the SMYK brand operator. SMYK will open its first store in the city on the 460 sqm space in the Chełm shopping center. It will enrich Galeria Chełm portfolio of stores with a comprehensive offer of goods for children. The SMYK store will be opened at the moment of the grand opening of Galeria Chełm, in the second half of 2019.

SMYK is a leading Polish brand specializing in products for children, holding over 180 stores in Poland and abroad. SMYK stores offer a wide range of clothing and footwear, toys, baby accessories and other products for children. The SMYK Group sells products under its own brands – primarily “COOL CLUB” and “SMIKI”, as well as products from world-famous brands and manufacturers of toys and accessories for children. The new store in Galeria Chełm will be the very first of this brand in Chełm.
Galeria Chełm
Galeria Chełm on the area of 17.5 thousand sqm. will offer – along the Lidl supermarket – 55 commercial premises and over 550 parking spaces. The plot on which the new shopping center will be located at the junction of Lubelska and Rejowiecka streets (also constituting the Chełm beltway), in the major transportation hub of the city. The Galeria Chełm’s catchment area covers nearly 300,000 residents as well as the cross-border traffic with Ukraine and Belarus.
The construction works will start in the third quarter of 2018, and the Galeria Chełm grand opening is planned for the second half of 2019.
