Galeria Chełm and Galeria Andrychów – joint projects of Acteeum and Equilis – were honored with the prestigious CEE Reail Awards at this year’s EuropaProperty Gala. Galeria Chełm won in the “Retail Project Small” category, while Galeria Andrychów received the highest rank in the “Future Project” category.
On March 3 and 4, 2021, a grand EuropaProperty Gala took place, which was the culmination of the 13th edition of the EuropaProperty CEE Retail & Marketplace Awards competition. This celebration, despite its virtual formula due to epidemiological restrictions, gathered an extremely large group of entities and professionals from the Retail industry.
As part of the competition, two joint projects by Acteeum Group and Equilis Europe were honored with prizes in their respective categories. Galeria Chełm – the first modern shopping center in Chełm, opened in March 2020 – won in the “Retail Project Small” category. Galeria Andrychów, the Power Center format project currently under construction in Andrychów, won in the prestigious “Future Project” category.

This year’s – virtually performed edition of the EuropaProperty CEE Retail & Marketplace Awards Gala gathered a respectable group of leaders, professionals and companies from the retail industry in Central and Eastern Europe. It was dedicated to prizes awarded to entities and specific projects, playing particular, leading roles in the development of the retail market in the region of Central and Eastern Europe.

Galeria Andrychów
Galeria Andrychów is the largest in Andrychów, modern and multifunctional retail facility of Power Center format, with a total GLA of 24,000 sqm. The plot of land on which a new shopping center is being built is located at the intersection of Krakowska, Biała Droga and Przemysłowa streets with direct access to the national road and in the vicinity of the planned Bielsko-Biała – Głogoczów bypass. Galeria Andrychów will offer 38 commercial premises and 680 parking spaces.
Among the brands whose stores will be opened in the Andrychów Power Center there are well-known and popular chains such as Leroy Merlin and Lidl, CCC, SMYK, Rossmann, Media Expert, Martes Sport, Jysk, KiK, Sinsay, House, Cropp, Deichmann, Divers, Pepco, Dealz, Hebe or Komfort as well as attractive local stores.
Intensive construction works are currently underway, and the opening of Galeria Andrychów is planned for the Q3 of 2021.
Galeria Chełm
Galeria Chełm on the area of 17,500 sqm. offers 55 shopping and service premises and over 550 parking spaces. The plot on which the new shopping center was developed is located at the intersection of Lubelska and Rejowiecka streets (constituting also the Chełm beltway), serving as major communication hub of the city. Galeria’s catchment area covers nearly 300,000 residents and the cross-border traffic with Ukraine and Belarus. Galeria Chełm – a joint investment of Acteeum and Equilis – has been awarded the BREEAM Final Stage certificate with the VERY GOOD rating.
